Become a volunteer advice worker

Advice services in Leeds are looking for people who want to make a difference in their community to help provide more quality advice to people across the City.

Advice service rely on trained volunteers to provide much needed advice services.

Problems can strike anyone at anytime. Thousands of volunteers work with advice charities to help people beat their problems.

Providing advice is interesting and sometimes challenging. Advisers help a range of people every day with different enquiries.

Applicants need to have good numeracy and literacy skills, the ability to communicate and the capacity and willingness to learn. All advice volunteers receive training through the Advice Leeds legal advice qualification training programme.
